I took a very long drive the other day to explore the coast. Luckily and unluckily, there was a torrential downpour most of the day and an awe-inspiring storm to watch as I passed through small towns and wound my way along tiny roads. The farm was about an hour and a half from Santa Rosa, along Hwy 1 north of Jenner and waaaay into the middle of nowhere. It was perched at the end of a road in the midst of huge hills of redwoods with fog and rain drifting in and out. I felt like I was at the top of a mountain. sigh. Absolutely incredible. I LOVE NORTHERN CA!!
At the end of the day I was safe and sound and thrilled I'd gotten to see the coast in its glory!
I really wish I'd thought to take pictures of the farm I visited, but I didn't know if my phone's camera worked very well and just didn't think of it.
In the future I'll be sure to supply more photos compliments of my $30 target phone with no megapixels
